Decoy and Wildlife Art Festival May 2 – 3 – 4, 2008. Fri: 6 – 9pm, Sat: 9 – 5, Sun: 10 – 4. Over 140 artists exhibiting and selling their art work, food, and children’s activities, live and silent auctions, retriever demonstrations, carving competitions and lots more. Show is located in the Havre de Grace Middle School, Recreation Center, and the museum. Free shuttle buses are available to all show locations and downtown Havre de Grace. Admission is $6/day, $10/weekend.

Sporting Clays Shoot May 25, 2008. This event is held at Pintail Point on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Queenstown, MD. 4 Lewis Class and concurrents available with a separate vintage side by side shoot. Great fun, food and over $3,000 in prizes. Contact the museum for more information.

21th Annual Duck Fair
The 21th Annual Duck Fair will be held September 6, 2008 from 9 – 5pm. A pleasant fall event held on the grounds of the museum. 40 wildlife artists and carvers, live and silent auction, retriever demonstrations, children’s activities, decoy painting, fun and food. Admission is free.

22st Anniversary Dinner November 1, 2008. This event incorporates a wonderful meal, Beauty and the Beast Contest and a lunch with a legend drawing. Come and enjoy the museum’s triumphs and hear what the future has to hold. Reservations required. Call the museum for more information.

Candlelight Tour & Carver Celebration
Candlelight Tour and Carver Celebration December 14, 2008. A community event incorporating a tour of historic homes and business decorated for the season and museum open houses throughout Havre de Grace. Tickets must purchased for the home tours. Other sites and business celebrate open house traditions. Carvers and artists will be exhibiting and working at the museum.
The Decoy Museum welcomes donations and consignments for each of our four
annual auctions.
